Denis Sadurni made a fantastic save in the 6th minute, when Jefferson Otto sent off a good shot on target. After a defensive mix-up in Konurbano Atletico's zone, Jefferson Otto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Denis Sadurni came out of the goal and Jefferson Otto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cássio Peixoto didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Everardo Ezkerra went, in the 9th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. 13 minutes into the game, Gilberto Tanio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Konurbano Atletico's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave OTTO FC - FSCMZ the free kick. A collision led to Konurbano Atletico getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Gilberto Tanio hit a great ball. Denis Sadurni made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jefferson Otto in the 15th minute of play. Denis Sadurni showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jefferson Otto, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Santo Tibalt in the 18th minute of play forced OTTO FC - FSCMZ's goalkeeper Cássio Peixoto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cássio Peixoto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gilberto Tanio in the 23rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Everardo Ezkerra in the 26th minute of play forced OTTO FC - FSCMZ's goalkeeper Cássio Peixoto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 29 minutes into the game, Zeledon Ponce cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Cássio Peixoto was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 32nd minute Zeledon Ponce shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cássio Peixoto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cássio Peixoto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zeledon Ponce in the 34th minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Otto Gol to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute Jefferson Otto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Denis Sadurni saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, OTTO FC - FSCMZ's Edgard Vasconcelos got a free kick in the 61st minute. Cássio Peixoto came out of the goal in the 62nd minute to try and stop a shot by Konurbano Atletico's Zeledon Ponce. But to his dismay, Zeledon Ponce quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. In the 73rd minute of the match, Santo Tibalt got a very nice opportunity to score, but Cássio Peixoto was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Otto Gol hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. OTTO FC - FSCMZ's Cássio Peixoto proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to save OTTO FC - FSCMZ from getting a goal against them. Cássio Peixoto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gilberto Tanio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Konurbano Atletico eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
