Ernesto Claude made a great header on El Retorno de Palermo's corner, it was just that Grêmio 20 Julho's Jonathan Zanette managed to reach the ball for a save. Witomir Lewandowski kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Modesto Olentzaro came out of the goal in the 36th minute to try and stop a shot by Grêmio 20 Julho's Valdemar de Amaral. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Valdemar de Amaral stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When the match clock showed 65 minutes, the score became 0-4 when Valdemar de Amaral sped through El Retorno de Palermo's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Modesto Olentzaro. Jonathan Zanette showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Guaberto Rufio in the 87th minute of the match. Grêmio 20 Julho's Valdemar de Amaral was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 90th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. If Valdemar de Amaral had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Grêmio 20 Julho's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
