The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Måns Sandberg in the 3rd minute of play forced AKS Chorzów's goalkeeper Dariusz Ziombkowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dariusz Ziombkowski had in the 6thth minute some difficulties stopping Juan Lebron's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. When the match clock showed 10 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Måns Sandberg sped through AKS Chorzów's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Dariusz Ziombkowski. Mateusz Solecki kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. Dariusz Ziombkowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Måns Sandberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Norrlands Athen's Måns Sandberg, in the 14th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Norrlands Athen. In the 15th minute Måns Sandberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dariusz Ziombkowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Måns Sandberg scored 0-2 in the 18th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dariusz Ziombkowski, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 21st minute the ball was on its way in behind AKS Chorzów's goalkeeper Dariusz Ziombkowski, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 22ndth minute of the game Måns Sandberg who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but AKS Chorzów's Dariusz Ziombkowski was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 25 minutes into the match, Måns Sandberg notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of AKS Chorzów's Dariusz Ziombkowski. Dariusz Ziombkowski was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Dariusz Ziombkowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Måns Sandberg in the 29th minute of play. 33 minutes into the match, AKS Chorzów's goal looked a bit too open when Juan Lebron came free, but Dariusz Ziombkowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 37 minutes of play, Norrlands Athen's Måns Sandberg made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dariusz Ziombkowski was left in no man's land by his defense there! Huang Fei Ting sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When the match had gone on for 42 minutes, Måns Sandberg put it in 0-6 from a short distance just to the right of Dariusz Ziombkowski. After a rather tough play, AKS Chorzów's Borys Chrobak got a free kick in the 45th minute.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Zachary Bentkowski stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 55 played minutes AKS Chorzów got a freekick which was hit by Witalis Dytrych. Norrlands Athen's Gilbert Hermansson was substituted for Måns Sandberg. After 63 played minutes AKS Chorzów got a freekick which was hit by Witalis Dytrych. 64 minutes into the match, AKS Chorzów's goalkeeper Dariusz Ziombkowski had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gilbert Hermansson. An unexpectedly hard shot by Calle Bergfelt in the 65th minute of play forced AKS Chorzów's goalkeeper Dariusz Ziombkowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Norrlands Athen's Juan Lebron slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Dariusz Ziombkowski. That made the score 0-9 after 66 minutes of play. Juan Lebron could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 69th minute of the match, but Dariusz Ziombkowski made a huge save. After some careless play in the AKS Chorzów defense, Juan Lebron kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dariusz Ziombkowski. The AKS Chorzów fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dariusz Ziombkowski should have stopped the shot. Dariusz Ziombkowski made a fantastic save in the 74th minute, when Qian Zhen Sheng sent off a good shot on target. The crowd rose to their feet as Norrlands Athen's Juan Lebron slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Dariusz Ziombkowski. That made the score 0-12 after 77 minutes of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Juan Lebron managed to get in a good position for a shot. Norrlands Athen's supporters rose to their feet, but Juan Lebron was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dariusz Ziombkowski breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 88th minute, Calle Bergfelt left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Norrlands Athen fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-15. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gilbert Hermansson got free with Dariusz Ziombkowski in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Norrlands Athen played a much better game than AKS Chorzów and deserved their victory. The AKS Chorzów players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
