Paulo Francho didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nelsinho Carneiro went, in the 4th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. After 9 played minutes, Pereiras FC's Júnior Pires shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Paulo Francho came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Pereiras FC reached it. After having played for 14 minutes, Teobaldo Javiar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. El Renacer del Quijano FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Teobaldo Javiar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Nelsinho Carneiro succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-0 in the 20th playminute. Teobaldo Javiar blasted a shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Téo Silva having to make a save. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Teobaldo Javiar managed to get in a good position for a shot. El Renacer del Quijano FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Teobaldo Javiar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Téo Silva breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After some careless play in the Pereiras FC defense, Teobaldo Javiar kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Téo Silva. The Pereiras FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Téo Silva should have stopped the shot. Nelsinho Carneiro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Paulo Francho made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teobaldo Javiar in the 33rd minute of play forced Pereiras FC's goalkeeper Téo Silva to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Pereiras FC booed when El Renacer del Quijano FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Koit Einasto didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, El Renacer del Quijano FC's Paulo Francho got control of the ball when Enio Palmeira tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jardel Nóbrega in the 41st minute of play forced El Renacer del Quijano FC's goalkeeper Paulo Francho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Nelsinho Carneiro made a kick off. Paulo Francho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jardel Nóbrega, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eustaquio Vermudo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Téo Silva came out and tried to block the shot, but Eustaquio Vermudo slotted it home off the left post making it 2-2 in the 57th minute. 60 minutes into the match, Pereiras FC's goalkeeper Téo Silva had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Teobaldo Javiar. In the 63rd minute Eustaquio Vermudo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Téo Silva saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A throw-in in the 65th minute of the game was made by Silvinho de Queirós with Luís Guilherme Trancoso as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Silvinho de Queirós's late challenge caught a El Renacer del Quijano FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Silvinho de Queirós helped the player get up and apologised. Silvinho de Queirós kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. Pereiras FC made a substitution. Fabrício Rocha replaced Luís Guilherme Trancoso. In the 67th match minute, Pereiras FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Silvinho de Queirós to maneuver through the defense. In the 70th match minute, Pereiras FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Renato Silveira to maneuver through the defense. The El Renacer del Quijano FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-4. Fabrício Rocha took the ball and in the 91 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Paulo Francho. Paulo Francho dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-4. In the 94th minute Enrique Ikatz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Téo Silva saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. El Renacer del Quijano FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
