Ulf Schilder kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. 33 minutes into the match, BiBa's goalkeeper Stefan Wrobel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gerardo Oriche. Stefan Wrobel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Augusto Ticho in the 40th minute of the match. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The supporters of BiBa booed when Halcones Azules was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Froilan Jerrold didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 72 played minutes Halcones Azules got a freekick which was hit by Arnulfo Rufo. Halcones Azules's Donato Baleren was substituted for Abelardo Artizar. Halcones Azules's Fidel Oalo was substituted for Ramiro Mogel. After a rather tough play, Halcones Azules's Arnulfo Rufo got a free kick in the 74th minute. Oliver Jarkovsky sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Stefan Wrobel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gerardo Oriche in the 87th minute of play. After 88 minutes, Ulf Schilder mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the BiBa and the Halcones Azules players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 88th match minute, BiBa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ulf Schilder to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Oliver Jarkovsky got free with Karl-Oskar Odén in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The Halcones Azules supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching BiBa's performance. The match ended with a win for BiBa.
