Herminio Maceira didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 17 minutes, Cesareo Milla mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Deportivo Popolizio FBC and the Khachatryan players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 17th match minute, Deportivo Popolizio FBC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cesareo Milla to maneuver through the defense. Phelipe Escarza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arin Mndoyants in the 18th minute of play. In the 19th minute Khachatryan were awarded a corner. Arin Mndoyants went to the cornerflag to take it. Arin Mndoyants made a great header on Khachatryan's corner, it was just that Deportivo Popolizio FBC's Phelipe Escarza managed to reach the ball for a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pierres Baz in the 23rd minute of play forced Khachatryan's goalkeeper Tigran Balayan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 27 minutes into the match, Khachatryan's goal looked a bit too open when Cheche Bellogin came free, but Tigran Balayan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Deportivo Popolizio FBC's Phelipe Escarza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arin Mndoyants in the 30th minute of play. Phelipe Escarza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arin Mndoyants, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. During the 32nd minute of the match Cesareo Milla completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Cesareo Milla a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Aldo Popolizio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Tigran Balayan made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ciceron Valdivielso in the 41st minute of play forced Khachatryan's goalkeeper Tigran Balayan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 44 minutes into the game, Teofilo Alcala threw the ball into play from the sideline. Khachatryan's Arin Mndoyants quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Phelipe Escarza came out of the goal in the 48th minute to try and stop a shot by Khachatryan's Arin Mndoyants. But to his dismay, Arin Mndoyants quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. The Deportivo Popolizio FBC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Khachatryan were winning 0-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Arin Mndoyants stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Deportivo Popolizio FBC's Benvide Cercalde was substituted for Aldo Popolizio. Khachatryan's Arno Martirosyan was substituted for Abel Avetisyan. Deportivo Popolizio FBC made a substitution. Eguerdi Comacho replaced Rayman Munibe. Khachatryan's Brian McKinney quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Ciceron Valdivielso, made in the 59th minute of the game. Teofilo Alcala hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. In the 63rd match minute, Khachatryan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Grigor Grigoryan to maneuver through the defense. Phelipe Escarza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arin Mndoyants, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Tigran Balayan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ciceron Valdivielso, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Cheche Bellogin charged in rather forcefully in the 87th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cheche Bellogin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Arno Martirosyan took the ball and in the 88 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Phelipe Escarza. Phelipe Escarza dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. After 95 minutes, Wawrzyniec Budrewicz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Khachatryan and the Deportivo Popolizio FBC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 95th match minute, Khachatryan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wawrzyniec Budrewicz to maneuver through the defense. Benvide Cercalde recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 97th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Khachatryan had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
