Sven-Olof Tönnberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Sydney Ross tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Black Mamba getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. David Forssell hit a great ball. Robbie Fowler might have been able to make a better finish in the 10th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Patrik Nordström. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Robbie Fowler ran back to his position shaking his head. After 12 played minutes Black Mamba got a freekick which was hit by David Forssell. When the match clock showed 13 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Robbie Fowler sped through Black Mamba's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Patrik Nordström. 19 minutes into the game, David Forssell was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Black Mamba's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Manly FC the free kick. 21 minutes into the match, Manly FC's Robbie Fowler sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Patrik Nordström narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When the match clock showed 25 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Robbie Fowler sped through Black Mamba's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Patrik Nordström. Patrik Nordström didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Robbie Fowler went, in the 29th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Robbie Fowler sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 44th minute Robbie Fowler shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Patrik Nordström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sven-Olof Tönnberg to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute Sven-Olof Tönnberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sydney Ross saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Robbie Fowler sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Robbie Fowler took the ball and in the 59 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Patrik Nordström. Patrik Nordström dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. Black Mamba's Patrik Nordström proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 66th minute of the match, managed to save Black Mamba from getting a goal against them. When Manly FC's Robbie Fowler in the 68th minute got a chance for a shot 68th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Black Mamba's goalie prevented a goal. 0-5 became the score in the 70th minute when Robbie Fowler elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 74th minute Manly FC were awarded a corner. Mourad Rocchi went to the cornerflag to take it. Patrik Nordström came out of the goal in the 77th minute to try and stop a shot by Manly FC's Robbie Fowler. But to his dismay, Robbie Fowler quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-6. Sydney Ross showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Evert Andreasson in the 80th minute of the match. After having played for 82 minutes, Fleming Wal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Manly FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fleming Wal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 84 minutes into the match, Manly FC's goal looked a bit too open when Evert Andreasson came free, but Sydney Ross reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Robbie Fowler might have been able to make a better finish in the 85th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Patrik Nordström. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Robbie Fowler ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 88th minute Robbie Fowler shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Patrik Nordström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Robbie Fowler could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 92nd minute of the match, but Patrik Nordström made a huge save.
