Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Csaba Kormos started the match with the kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as Phoenix Fireball SE's Árpád Markó slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Christiano Cearense. That made the score 1-0 after 3 minutes of play. Christiano Cearense came out of the goal in the 5th minute to try and stop a shot by Phoenix Fireball SE's Illés Fenyvesi. But to his dismay, Illés Fenyvesi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Phoenix Fireball SE's Géza Vlaszák played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Conrado Miranda in the 9th minute of play. In the 13th minute of the match Itajaí Football Club got a corner. Phoenix Fireball SE's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Bruno Barros ran over to the corner to take the kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Luís Paulo de Castro heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Géza Vlaszák took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luís Paulo de Castro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Conrado Miranda in the 21st minute of play forced Phoenix Fireball SE's goalkeeper Géza Vlaszák to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 22 minutes into the match, Phoenix Fireball SE's goal looked a bit too open when Luís Paulo de Castro came free, but Géza Vlaszák reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 26th minute Árpád Markó shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christiano Cearense saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Csaba Kormos scored 3-1 in the 28th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Christiano Cearense, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Christiano Cearense made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Árpád Markó in the 32nd minute of play. After 34 played minutes Itajaí Football Club got a freekick which was hit by Andreas Piovezan. In the 37th minute, Illés Fenyvesi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Christiano Cearense was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1. Aladár Szénási blasted a shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Christiano Cearense having to make a save. Christiano Cearense showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Árpád Markó in the 42nd minute of the match. Illés Fenyvesi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 47th minute of the match, but Christiano Cearense made a huge save. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Christiano Cearense made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aladár Szénási in the 51st minute of play. Luís Fabiano Corrêa's late challenge caught a Phoenix Fireball SE's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Luís Fabiano Corrêa helped the player get up and apologised. Carlos Eduardo da Costa struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Géza Vlaszák didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Itajaí Football Club. 59 minutes into the match, Illés Fenyvesi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Christiano Cearense. Itajaí Football Club's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Illés Fenyvesi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-1. In the 63rd minute Conrado Miranda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Géza Vlaszák saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Árpád Markó took the ball and in the 64 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Christiano Cearense. Christiano Cearense dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-1. 70 minutes into the match, Itajaí Football Club's goal looked a bit too open when Aladár Szénási came free, but Christiano Cearense reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Conrado Miranda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Christiano Cearense came out of the goal in the 75th minute to try and stop a shot by Phoenix Fireball SE's Aladár Szénási. But to his dismay, Aladár Szénási quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-1. Phoenix Fireball SE's Géza Vlaszák proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 80th minute of the match, managed to save Phoenix Fireball SE from getting a goal against them. 84 minutes into the match, Illés Fenyvesi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Christiano Cearense. Itajaí Football Club's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Illés Fenyvesi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 8-1. 87 minutes into the match, Luís Paulo de Castro dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Géza Vlaszák, 8-2. In the 90th minute, Flórián Dósa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 94th minute, Carlos Eduardo da Costa made a precise shot to the right of Géza Vlaszák. Phoenix Fireball SE's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 8-3. Itajaí Football Club's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
