Adolfo Galindo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rikard Lindgren hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. The supporters of Atletas Campesinos F.C. booed when Protegéerna was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rikard Lindgren didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 9th minute, Atletas Campesinos F.C.'s Luís Hernandez dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. In the 14th match minute, Atletas Campesinos F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luís Hernandez to maneuver through the defense. In the 16th minute Luís Hernandez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Holger Johnsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Luís Hernandez came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Atletas Campesinos F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luís Hernandez couldn't finish the play. Holger Johnsson made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Luís Hernandez sent off a good shot on target. Thanks to some nice moves Luís Hernandez could shoot a difficult shot in the 23rd minute, which Holger Johnsson however easily saved by the left post. Holger Johnsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luís Hernandez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Holger Johnsson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Luís Hernandez in the 27th minute. 29 minutes into the game, Karl-Johan Eskilsson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Protegéerna's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Atletas Campesinos F.C. the free kick. In the 29th match minute, Protegéerna was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Karl-Johan Eskilsson to maneuver through the defense. Luís Hernandez struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Holger Johnsson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Atletas Campesinos F.C.. Holger Johnsson came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by Atletas Campesinos F.C.'s Luís Hernandez. But to his dismay, Luís Hernandez quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Luís Hernandez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Adolfo Galindo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Atletas Campesinos F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Adolfo Galindo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Holger Johnsson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Atletas Campesinos F.C.'s Luís Hernandez got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Roy Bennet made a kick off. In the 52nd minute, Roy Bennet got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Atletas Campesinos F.C.'s Luís Hernandez got a free kick in the 56th minute. Luís Hernandez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Holger Johnsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luís Hernandez in the 58th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Protegéerna's Charlie Apelquist got a free kick in the 58th minute. In the 60th minute, Luís Hernandez ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Holger Johnsson was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. After a rather tough play, Atletas Campesinos F.C.'s Remigio Handi got a free kick in the 64th minute. After 64 played minutes, Protegéerna's Erling Skarkman shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Paulo Rosio came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Protegéerna reached it. Adolfo Galindo might have been able to make a better finish in the 66th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Holger Johnsson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Adolfo Galindo ran back to his position shaking his head. Atletas Campesinos F.C. were awarded a corner in the 68th minute after Protegéerna's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ciro Ostadar took the corner. When Atletas Campesinos F.C.'s Luís Hernandez in the 75th minute got a chance for a shot 75th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Protegéerna's goalie prevented a goal. Holger Johnsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luís Hernandez in the 78th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Remigio Handi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Atletas Campesinos F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Remigio Handi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Holger Johnsson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Adolfo Galindo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Holger Johnsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 95 minutes, Luís Hernandez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Atletas Campesinos F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Luís Hernandez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Atletas Campesinos F.C. had played much better football throughout.
