Alessio Ascoli kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. Toro Martínez blasted a shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Armando Polidori having to make a save. In the 92nd minute Toro Martínez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Armando Polidori saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Toro Martínez blasted a shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Armando Polidori having to make a save. XMAS's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
