Bairoletto FC's Candido Lehior played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Glauco Mesquita in the 3rd minute of play. LRCA Office Club's Maurício Linhares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Placido Maties in the 9th minute of play. In the 15th minute Toke Chute shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Candido Lehior saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 21 minutes into the match, Placido Maties notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of LRCA Office Club's Maurício Linhares. Maurício Linhares was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of Bairoletto FC booed when LRCA Office Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Toke Chute didn't get a good kick on the ball. 39 minutes into the match, LRCA Office Club's goal looked a bit too open when Maximino Canor came free, but Maurício Linhares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the LRCA Office Club defense, Maximino Canor kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Maurício Linhares. The LRCA Office Club fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Maurício Linhares should have stopped the shot. If Placido Maties had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 48th minute of the match Matias Bortzaioriz sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Maurício Linhares skillfully saved the ball. After the first half Bairoletto FC were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Placido Maties made a kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Placido Maties managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bairoletto FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Placido Maties was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Maurício Linhares breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dante Matthew in the 58th minute of play forced LRCA Office Club's goalkeeper Maurício Linhares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nereo Norino during the 65th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of LRCA Office Club booed when Bairoletto FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nereo Norino didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Bairoletto FC getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Teofilo Nuno hit a great ball. Amadeu Capixaba fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Candido Lehior having to interfere. In the 84th minute, Nereo Norino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Maurício Linhares made a fantastic save in the 88th minute, when Placido Maties sent off a good shot on target. The Bairoletto FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Bairoletto FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
