Teofilo Federigo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gustavo-Hernán De La Cruz in the 4th minute of play. MORPH's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Gustavo-Hernán Funes Mori in the 10th minute. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Palermo's goalie and right to Guido Lorencio. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Palermo's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. With an all-out effort, Palermo's Gustavo-Hernán Armani threw himself towards the right post 15 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Donato Vachon, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Palermo's Patryk Wiater was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 16th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. 22 minutes into the match, MORPH's goal looked a bit too open when Rafael Hondo came free, but Gustavo-Hernán Armani reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Teofilo Federigo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gustavo-Hernán Bareiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. After 24 played minutes Palermo got a freekick which was hit by Uriel Georgiev. Gustavo-Hernán De La Cruz struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Teofilo Federigo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for MORPH. After 31 played minutes MORPH got a freekick which was hit by Eustacio Etxepare. Jacinto Mino succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-0 in the 33rd playminute. In the 42nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Palermo's goalkeeper Teofilo Federigo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jacinto Mino succeeded in the game's 44th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 3-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rafael Hondo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Gustavo-Hernán Armani showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julian Birila, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. 67 minutes into the game, Bernardino Santikurtz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. MORPH's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Palermo the free kick. Teofilo Federigo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gustavo-Hernán De La Cruz in the 73rd minute of the match. Gustavo-Hernán Bareiro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Teofilo Federigo made a huge save. The MORPH fans' excitement grew in the 83rd match minute when MORPH's Guido Lorencio looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jacinto Mino during the 86th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Palermo getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Jacinto Mino hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Gustavo-Hernán Bareiro managed to get in a good position for a shot. MORPH's supporters rose to their feet, but Gustavo-Hernán Bareiro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Teofilo Federigo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Gustavo-Hernán De La Cruz fell near the penalty area in the 89th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored MORPH's protests and gave Gustavo-Hernán De La Cruz a yellow card for diving instead. Gustavo-Hernán De La Cruz kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gustavo-Hernán De La Cruz in the 91st minute of play forced Palermo's goalkeeper Teofilo Federigo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Palermo's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
