In the 4th minute Alex Cadrecha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lew Maurer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of No Me Inscriban Gracias booed when FC Wil 1900 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Popcorn Knoblauch didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yann Wirz in the 8th minute of play forced No Me Inscriban Gracias's goalkeeper Rixon Espinoza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 12th minute, Nicolás Janer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Urti Envito kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. After 24 played minutes FC Wil 1900 got a freekick which was hit by Adriano Bollhalder. FC Wil 1900's Lew Maurer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Urti Envito in the 25th minute of play. Rixon Espinoza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roland Cirella, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 29th minute, No Me Inscriban Gracias's Urti Envito dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Rixon Espinoza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Olivier Ostermann in the 32nd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alex Cadrecha got free with Lew Maurer in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Rixon Espinoza stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Olivier Ostermann's shot from short distance in the 43rd minute. The referee felt a red card was in order, 47 minutes into the game, when Sidney Seiler put in a rough tackle. In the 46th minute, one of FC Wil 1900:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for FC Wil 1900. The excitement rose when No Me Inscriban Gracias's López Arruda after 49 played minutes turned away three defenders near the goal, and after that shot a ball that was too difficult for FC Wil 1900's goalkeeper to hold. Score! 2-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

In the 55th match minute, FC Wil 1900 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roland Cirella to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 62 minutes, Karim Gerber managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Wil 1900's supporters crossed their fingers, but Karim Gerber was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 65 minutes of play, No Me Inscriban Gracias's Alex Cadrecha made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lew Maurer was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to FC Wil 1900 getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Götz Venkataramanappa hit a great ball. Alex Cadrecha struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Lew Maurer didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for No Me Inscriban Gracias. Yann Wirz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rixon Espinoza having to interfere. 79 minutes into the match, FC Wil 1900's goal looked a bit too open when Mellington Bernia came free, but Lew Maurer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rixon Espinoza stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Yann Wirz's shot from short distance in the 82nd minute. In the 84th match minute, FC Wil 1900 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adriano Bollhalder to maneuver through the defense. In the 85th minute of the match López Arruda shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Lew Maurer showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. A collision led to No Me Inscriban Gracias getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Narciso Vidanes hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yann Wirz in the 92nd minute of play forced No Me Inscriban Gracias's goalkeeper Rixon Espinoza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mellington Bernia during the 93rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Mellington Bernia kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. 95 minutes into the match, FC Wil 1900's Roland Cirella sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rixon Espinoza narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Yann Wirz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 99th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The No Me Inscriban Gracias fans cheered their team off the field, for while FC Wil 1900 had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
