FC Rägi's Jochen Baggenstoss proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 6th minute of the match, managed to save FC Rägi from getting a goal against them. In the 9th minute Andres Oper shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jochen Baggenstoss saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 12th minute, Strib Galacticos IF's Andres Oper dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. The audience was convinced that Andres Oper's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jochen Baggenstoss was relentless in the 15th minute of the game. Andres Oper succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-0 in the 16th playminute. Jochen Baggenstoss took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andres Oper, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andres Oper in the 22nd minute of play forced FC Rägi's goalkeeper Jochen Baggenstoss to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Strib Galacticos IF's Bo Mcquoid got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 32nd minute, Andres Oper got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 34thth minute of the game Andres Oper who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Rägi's Jochen Baggenstoss was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. FC Rägi's Guy Kirchner was substituted for Art Ziegler. In the 48th minute, Favian Kampus hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jochen Baggenstoss made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andres Oper in the 50th minute of play.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Andres Oper stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the FC Rägi defense, Andres Oper kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jochen Baggenstoss. The FC Rägi fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jochen Baggenstoss should have stopped the shot. 59 minutes into the match, FC Rägi's goal looked a bit too open when Andres Oper came free, but Jochen Baggenstoss reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jochen Baggenstoss prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Hagbard Ribov's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jochen Baggenstoss read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 82nd minute of play. 86 minutes into the match, Strib Galacticos IF's Hagbard Ribov sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jochen Baggenstoss narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Hagbard Ribov might have been able to make a better finish in the 89th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jochen Baggenstoss. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hagbard Ribov ran back to his position shaking his head. Jochen Baggenstoss made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hagbard Ribov in the 89th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in FC Rägi's zone, Hagbard Ribov stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jochen Baggenstoss came out of the goal and Hagbard Ribov tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Strib Galacticos IF made a substitution. Eske Aggervild replaced Bo Mcquoid. 94 minutes into the match, Hagbard Ribov notched a goal, 6-0, to the right of FC Rägi's Jochen Baggenstoss. Jochen Baggenstoss was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 97th minute, Eske Aggervild got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Strib Galacticos IF had won after a very even match.
