In the 6th minute, Raimundo Tupper got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to S.D. Bajen getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. 董岚城 hit a great ball. After 10 minutes of play, Club Deportes Santa Cruz's Raimundo Tupper made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bret Caudill was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 20 minutes of play, Club Deportes Santa Cruz's Podador Raheiro made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bret Caudill was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, S.D. Bajen's Jorge Baez got a free kick in the 26th minute. Bret Caudill made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vágner Linares in the 27th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Raimundo Tupper in the 30th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bret Caudill prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Bret Caudill came out of the goal in the 33rd minute to try and stop a shot by Club Deportes Santa Cruz's Yan Zhi Chuan. But to his dismay, Yan Zhi Chuan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. 36 minutes into the match, S.D. Bajen's goal looked a bit too open when Yan Zhi Chuan came free, but Bret Caudill reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bret Caudill made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yan Zhi Chuan in the 38th minute of play. 39 minutes had been played when some careless play by S.D. Bajen's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Vágner Linares was slow to take the kick. During this time Club Deportes Santa Cruz's players had a chance to rest. Eduardo Elia kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. In the 39th minute, Club Deportes Santa Cruz's Eduardo Elia fired away a free kick that almost went in the goal. Bret Caudill was prepared for the shot, but didn't have to make a play as the shot flew over the goal. In the 42nd minute Podador Raheiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bret Caudill saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 43rd minute Raimundo Tupper shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bret Caudill saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Podador Raheiro in the 48th minute of play forced S.D. Bajen's goalkeeper Bret Caudill to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

Club Deportes Santa Cruz made a substitution. Trayko Gradinarski replaced Podador Raheiro. Bret Caudill took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yan Zhi Chuan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bret Caudill made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcus Edström in the 54th minute of play. Tony Kirby kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. In the 58th match minute, Club Deportes Santa Cruz was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Juan Estevan Hamdorf to maneuver through the defense. After 62 minutes, Mohammed Bautista mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the S.D. Bajen and the Club Deportes Santa Cruz players grew even worse after the yellow card. Mohammed Bautista hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. After 63 played minutes S.D. Bajen got a freekick which was hit by Mohammed Bautista. If Vágner Linares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. S.D. Bajen's Bret Caudill played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hüseyin Rahmi Toper in the 67th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Club Deportes Santa Cruz's zone, Woodrow Baggett stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ilkka Markkula came out of the goal and Woodrow Baggett tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Marcus Edström scored 0-6 in the 76th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bret Caudill, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Marcus Edström could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but Bret Caudill made a huge save. Ilkka Markkula made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Woodrow Baggett in the 83rd minute of play. 84 minutes into the match, S.D. Bajen's goal looked a bit too open when Yan Zhi Chuan came free, but Bret Caudill reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 87 minutes into the match, Club Deportes Santa Cruz's goal looked a bit too open when Darryl Hardin came free, but Ilkka Markkula reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ilkka Markkula showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 董岚城 in the 88th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Marcus Edström kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Bret Caudill. That made the score 0-7 in the 89 minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marcus Edström got free with Bret Caudill in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. S.D. Bajen's Bret Caudill proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to save S.D. Bajen from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yan Zhi Chuan in the 97th minute of play forced S.D. Bajen's goalkeeper Bret Caudill to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Club Deportes Santa Cruz's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
