In the 38th minute Caicedo Berrondo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Evaristo Txartiko saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Caicedo Berrondo made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, C.A. DALO S.C.'s Evaristo Txartiko played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Caicedo Berrondo in the 72nd minute of play. Evaristo Txartiko had great luck who in the 76thth minute grab hold of the ball when Caicedo Berrondo from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. When Sérgio Silveira came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the C.A. GUAYACO fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sérgio Silveira couldn't finish the play. The supporters of C.A. GUAYACO booed when DALO S.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carlos Ruidio didn't get a good kick on the ball.
