In the 19thth minute of the game Hu Jie Rong who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Playa Malvín's Estavan Virto was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The Putra Rewulu fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. The supporters of Playa Malvín booed when Putra Rewulu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Khalis Da Costa didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 40th minute Playa Malvín were awarded a corner. Xayvion Penas went to the cornerflag to take it. 42 minutes into the game, Pär Goy was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Putra Rewulu's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Playa Malvín the free kick. In the 42nd minute, Pär Goy hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet as Christian Bale kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Adrianus Tambunan. That made the score 1-2 in the 45 minute of play. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Pär Goy to make the kick off. Estavan Virto was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Hu Jie Rong showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-3 in the 52 minute of play. After a rather tough play, Putra Rewulu's Mahadi Anhar got a free kick in the 60th minute. After some careless play in the Putra Rewulu defense, Tabor Canillas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Adrianus Tambunan. The Putra Rewulu fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Adrianus Tambunan should have stopped the shot. 68 minutes into the match, Putra Rewulu's goal looked a bit too open when Tabor Canillas came free, but Adrianus Tambunan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Playa Malvín's Estavan Virto proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to save Playa Malvín from getting a goal against them. When Amadeo Sandaili fell near the penalty area in the 80th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Playa Malvín's protests and gave Amadeo Sandaili a yellow card for diving instead. Estavan Virto didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Hu Jie Rong went, in the 89th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-4 was the resulting score. The Putra Rewulu fans' excitement grew in the 93rd match minute when Putra Rewulu's Hu Jie Rong looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-5 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The Playa Malvín fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Putra Rewulu were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
