Dalmo Saldanha was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 12 played minutes MDS Soccer Club got a freekick which was hit by Davi Cunha. Marco van Basten sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Chico de Sousa who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 18thth minute tested the skills of Zheng Di Xi when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Chico de Sousa's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 25thth minute, Zheng Di Xi skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. MDS Soccer Club's Zheng Di Xi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Durval de Queirós in the 26th minute of play. Jovens Democratas MZC's Chico de Sousa got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jovens Democratas MZC's Dalmo Saldanha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ruy Duarte in the 42nd minute of play. MDS Soccer Club's Zheng Di Xi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 48th minute of the match, managed to save MDS Soccer Club from getting a goal against them. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Chico de Sousa to strike the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in MDS Soccer Club's zone, Durval de Queirós stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zheng Di Xi came out of the goal and Durval de Queirós tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dalmo Saldanha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ernani de Toledo in the 53rd minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Chico de Sousa's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Zheng Di Xi was relentless in the 55th minute of the game. Xu Li Sang struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Zheng Di Xi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Jovens Democratas MZC. Zheng Di Xi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Xu Li Sang, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Zheng Di Xi showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 66 minutes into the match, MDS Soccer Club's goal looked a bit too open when Chico de Sousa came free, but Zheng Di Xi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jovens Democratas MZC's Serginho Sabóia was substituted for Marco van Basten. An unexpectedly hard shot by Serginho Sabóia in the 71st minute of play forced MDS Soccer Club's goalkeeper Zheng Di Xi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 71st minute, Davi Cunha hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
