In the 7th minute, Codrin Stan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Hélder Vinhas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Codrin Stan in the 13th minute of play. Nicodim Ozon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hélder Vinhas having to interfere. Pompiliu Prisecaru sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 22nd minute Chiquinho Carioca shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gigel Petculescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hélder Vinhas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Codrin Stan, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. After a rather tough play, CF REALCipri's Codruț Aaxiniei got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Hélder Vinhas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Codrin Stan in the 37th minute of the match. Arnaldo Munhoz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 44th minute of the match, but Gigel Petculescu made a huge save. Cestarolli FC's Hélder Vinhas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Codrin Stan in the 46th minute of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Betinho Peixoto kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. In the 55th match minute, Cestarolli FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Betinho Peixoto to maneuver through the defense. In the 58th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cestarolli FC's goalkeeper Hélder Vinhas, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With his leg Hélder Vinhas managed to avoid a goal in the 60thth minute, when CF REALCipri's Codrin Stan fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Gonçalo Cestarolli struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Gigel Petculescu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cestarolli FC. The crowd rose to their feet as CF REALCipri's Nicodim Ozon slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Hélder Vinhas. That made the score 0-1 after 71 minutes of play. Nicodim Ozon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Codrin Stan came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the CF REALCipri fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Codrin Stan couldn't finish the play. After 93 played minutes Rareș Vulturar shot from long distance. At first the shot seemed to be simple for Cestarolli FC's Hélder Vinhas to catch but Rareș Vulturar was lucky. It became 0-2 after the goalkeeper had been careless and dropped the ball into goal.
