The audience was convinced that Oséias Orange's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sydney Barros was relentless in the 7th minute of the game. Gugu Travassos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Chiquinho Guerra having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ezio Orange in the 15th minute of play forced Granadero10's goalkeeper Sydney Barros to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 21 minutes into the match, Granadero10's Betão Senna sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Chiquinho Guerra narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Gugu Travassos blasted a shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Chiquinho Guerra having to make a save. Chiquinho Guerra showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gugu Travassos, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Sydney Barros came out of the goal in the 24th minute to try and stop a shot by Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ's Adrianinho de Salles. But to his dismay, Adrianinho de Salles quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Ezio Orange fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sydney Barros having to interfere. 31 minutes into the match, Granadero10's goal looked a bit too open when Vitório Campidelis came free, but Sydney Barros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Oséias Orange in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sydney Barros saved Granadero10 from getting behind. After some careless play in the Granadero10 defense, Oséias Orange kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sydney Barros. The Granadero10 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sydney Barros should have stopped the shot. When Adrianinho de Salles came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Adrianinho de Salles couldn't finish the play. Sydney Barros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oséias Orange in the 45th minute of play. 47 minutes into the match, Granadero10's goal looked a bit too open when Oséias Orange came free, but Sydney Barros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Betão Senna was the one to do the kick off. Ezio Orange sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sydney Barros showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oséias Orange, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Gugu Travassos's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Chiquinho Guerra read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 59th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Edvaldo Madureira managed to get in a good position for a shot. Granadero10's supporters rose to their feet, but Edvaldo Madureira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Chiquinho Guerra breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gugu Travassos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Chiquinho Guerra having to interfere. Sydney Barros didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ's Adrianinho de Salles shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-5 in the ordered_time% minute. 83 minutes into the match, Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Gugu Travassos came free, but Chiquinho Guerra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ played a much better game than Granadero10 and deserved their victory. The Granadero10 players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
