Vítor Saraiva made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gwidon Popowicz in the 11th minute of play. In the 15th minute Geovani Dantas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ludomil Niedbalski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Imbituba - FSCMZ were awarded a corner in the 17th minute after The Irons Chorzów's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Lúcio Proença took the corner. In the 23rdth minute of the game Geovani Dantas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but The Irons Chorzów's Ludomil Niedbalski was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 28th minute, Geovani Dantas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ludomil Niedbalski was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. 30 minutes into the match, Imbituba - FSCMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Gwidon Popowicz came free, but Vítor Saraiva reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 32nd match minute, The Irons Chorzów was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Radomil Sedzikowski to maneuver through the defense. Ludomil Niedbalski didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Geovani Dantas went, in the 34th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. 38 minutes into the game, Geovani Dantas cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Ludomil Niedbalski was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The supporters of The Irons Chorzów booed when Imbituba - FSCMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sérgio de Sena didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ludomil Niedbalski made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. Vítor Saraiva stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Radomil Sedzikowski's shot from short distance in the 75th minute. Imbituba - FSCMZ's attentive Ademar Antunes managed to snatch the ball when Kazimierz Zagrodny made a throw-in in the 84th minute of the game. The audience was convinced that Geovani Dantas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ludomil Niedbalski was relentless in the 86th minute of the game. Ludomil Niedbalski didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Geovani Dantas went, in the 88th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-7 was the resulting score. When the final whistle sounded Imbituba - FSCMZ left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than The Irons Chorzów.
