The referee ignored ZONGULDAKKÖMÜRSPOR's protests and gave Sedat Durdu a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to ZONGULDAKKÖMÜRSPOR getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Sedat Durdu hit a great ball. When Fahri Kiram came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the ZONGULDAKKÖMÜRSPOR fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fahri Kiram couldn't finish the play. Sedat Durdu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Ryszard Grondzki tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eugeniusz Mirowski charged in rather forcefully in the 26th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eugeniusz Mirowski the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of ZONGULDAKKÖMÜRSPOR booed when FC Latające Siekiery was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eugeniusz Mirowski didn't get a good kick on the ball. FC Latające Siekiery's Ryszard Grondzki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fahri Kiram in the 38th minute of play. 47 minutes into the game, Fahri Kiram recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ryszard Grondzki. Fahri Kiram showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Karol Kaczeniak to make the kick off. The supporters of FC Latające Siekiery booed when ZONGULDAKKÖMÜRSPOR was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kenan Sungur didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ryszard Grondzki showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fahri Kiram, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Fahri Kiram recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ryszard Grondzki didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sedat Durdu went, in the 64th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. After having played for 67 minutes, Fahri Kiram managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ZONGULDAKKÖMÜRSPOR's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fahri Kiram was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 72 minutes, Mürsel Selahaddin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ZONGULDAKKÖMÜRSPOR and the FC Latające Siekiery players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of FC Latające Siekiery booed when ZONGULDAKKÖMÜRSPOR was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mürsel Selahaddin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Suphi Polatalp hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. With a little luck, ZONGULDAKKÖMÜRSPOR's Ali Kürşat Serimer got control of the ball when Fryderyk Siembab tried to sneak it across the goal line. The ZONGULDAKKÖMÜRSPOR players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
