The Galo do Japi fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eugênio Dantas should have stopped the shot. In the 14th minute, Bram Smits left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The AC Pitt Bier fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. 16 minutes into the match, Galo do Japi's goal looked a bit too open when Marco Hak came free, but Eugênio Dantas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 18th minute Bram Smits shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eugênio Dantas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Galo do Japi players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. AC Pitt Bier were winning 0-5.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Durval Mazza to make the kick off. Geert Kremer kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. In the 54th minute of the match Dudu Alagoano sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Niels Rensenbrink skillfully saved the ball. Bram Smits received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Eugênio Dantas came out and tried to block the shot, but Bram Smits slotted it home off the left post making it 0-7 in the 56th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Durval Mazza in the 60th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Niels Rensenbrink saved AC Pitt Bier from getting behind. Johannes Rogaars helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Galo do Japi booed when AC Pitt Bier was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Johannes Rogaars didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Rafa Godoi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marco Hak fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eugênio Dantas having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Galo do Japi's Dudu Alagoano got a free kick in the 76th minute. Eugênio Dantas made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Johannes Rogaars sent off a good shot on target. 80 minutes into the match, Galo do Japi's goalkeeper Eugênio Dantas had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Damien van Putten. If Luciano do Nascimento had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. AC Pitt Bier's Twan Lute was substituted for Johannes Rogaars. Galo do Japi's Eugênio Dantas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save Galo do Japi from getting a goal against them. In the 86th minute, Twan Lute left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The AC Pitt Bier fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-9. Eugênio Dantas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Twan Lute, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. Eugênio Dantas didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Twan Lute went, in the 95th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-10 was the resulting score. AC Pitt Bier played a much better game than Galo do Japi and deserved their victory. The Galo do Japi players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
