Salvador Incendio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Salvador Incendio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Edinho Vasconcelos's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. Salvador Incendio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edinho Vasconcelos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's Fabricio Bikendi got a free kick in the 40th minute. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Delmiro Arlo took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 57th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Anderson Meira. Clube do Remo MZ's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 60th minute Edinho Vasconcelos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Salvador Incendio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 65th minute, Clube do Remo MZ's Edinho Vasconcelos dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-3. In the 69th minute Alejo Ferrando shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anderson Meira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Anderson Meira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alejo Ferrando in the 73rd minute of the match. If Felipe Gaxan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The Clube do Remo MZ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4.
