The referee ignored C.S.D Punta Ballena's protests and gave Jesus Carriedo a yellow card for diving instead. 11 minutes into the game, Vlad Uzuneanu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Bartoli Navagos was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 14 played minutes A4p FC Gad got a freekick which was hit by Horea Piersic. When Onofre Masas fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored C.S.D Punta Ballena's protests and gave Onofre Masas a yellow card for diving instead. Onofre Masas hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. In the 22nd minute of the match, Agustin Canobbio got a very nice opportunity to score, but Olimpiu Târlea was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Gutierrre Olier was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 23 minutes into the match. In the 25th minute, Horea Piersic got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 27 minutes into the match, C.S.D Punta Ballena's goal looked a bit too open when Vlad Uzuneanu came free, but Bartoli Navagos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A4p FC Gad's defense didn't have a chance, in the 41st minute, when Jesus Carriedo scored to the left of an out of position Olimpiu Târlea, making the score, 1-1. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

In the 54th match minute, A4p FC Gad was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Horaţiu Arsenescu to maneuver through the defense. Olimpiu Târlea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Agustin Canobbio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 58th minute Liviu Halipa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bartoli Navagos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A4p FC Gad's Olimpiu Târlea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anton Guilizasti in the 66th minute of play. 68 minutes into the match, Agustin Canobbio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Olimpiu Târlea. A4p FC Gad's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Agustin Canobbio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. C.S.D Punta Ballena's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
