In the 7th minute Teodosio Oriche shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robbie Metcalf saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nereo Aznar hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. Braulio Onbera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bob Bilham in the 10th minute of the match. Eulalio Blanco hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. When the match had gone on for 17 minutes, Constantino Peter put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Robbie Metcalf. The supporters of Cura del Futbol booed when Leicester Lions was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ralf Hind didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Cura del Futbol's Jimeno Millano in the 21st minute got a chance for a shot 21st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Leicester Lions's goalie prevented a goal. Carolo Chus charged in rather forcefully in the 26th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Carolo Chus the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 28th minute, the referee gave Leicester Lions a penalty. Bob Bilham looked confident and blasted the ball into goal by the left post, totally unstoppable for Braulio Onbera. After a rather tough play, Cura del Futbol's Teodosio Oriche got a free kick in the 30th minute. If Gwyn Radcliffe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match clock showed 34 minutes, the score became 1-2 when Teodosio Oriche sped through Leicester Lions's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Robbie Metcalf. Gwyn Radcliffe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Braulio Onbera having to interfere. The Leicester Lions players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Cura del Futbol were winning 1-2.

The audience was convinced that Jimeno Millano's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Robbie Metcalf was relentless in the 60th minute of the game. After 66 played minutes Leicester Lions got a freekick which was hit by Gaz Stead. 68 minutes into the match, Gwyn Radcliffe notched a goal, 2-3, to the right of Cura del Futbol's Braulio Onbera. Braulio Onbera was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The audience thought a goal was coming when Teodosio Oriche got free with Robbie Metcalf in the 72nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Robbie Metcalf showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Constantino Peter in the 77th minute of the match. Barney Haxby kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. In the 81st minute, Gwyn Radcliffe ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Braulio Onbera was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-3. Teodosio Oriche could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 84th minute of the match, but Robbie Metcalf made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Cura del Futbol's Nereo Aznar got a free kick in the 85th minute. Cura del Futbol's Braulio Onbera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bob Bilham in the 87th minute of play. Robbie Metcalf showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jimeno Millano, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Teodosio Oriche came free with the goalkeeper in the 90th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Robbie Metcalf could save by the left post. After a rather tough play, Leicester Lions's Duncan Lawless got a free kick in the 96th minute.
