Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Ahmet Refik Ülgü kicked off to start the match. When the match had gone on for 4 minutes, Zhu Tian Sha took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Georgi Velinov to make any attempt to save it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ahmet Refik Ülgü in the 8th minute of play forced Borussia Dortmund MZB's goalkeeper Angelo Peruzzi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 13 minutes, Washington de Lara mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Borussia Dortmund MZB and the FC CSKA players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 14 played minutes Borussia Dortmund MZB got a freekick which was hit by Washington de Lara. Angelo Peruzzi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ahmet Refik Ülgü in the 21st minute of the match. In the 28th minute, Ale Nesta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 29th minute, Georgi Dimitrov sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Borussia Dortmund MZB's Angelo Peruzzi didn't even have to move. After having played for 34 minutes, Oséias Palmeira managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Borussia Dortmund MZB's supporters crossed their fingers, but Oséias Palmeira was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Georgi Velinov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oséias Palmeira in the 37th minute of play. FC CSKA's Georgi Velinov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oséias Palmeira in the 38th minute of play. In the 43rd minute Ahmet Refik Ülgü shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Angelo Peruzzi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 46 minutes into the match, Ahmet Refik Ülgü notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Borussia Dortmund MZB's Angelo Peruzzi. Angelo Peruzzi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

In the 53rd minute, Oséias Palmeira ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Georgi Velinov was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. With a little luck, Borussia Dortmund MZB's Angelo Peruzzi got control of the ball when Ahmet Refik Ülgü tried to sneak it across the goal line. Angelo Peruzzi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ahmet Refik Ülgü in the 60th minute of play. FC CSKA's Georgi Velinov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oséias Palmeira in the 63rd minute of play. When the match had been going on for 65 minutes Luis Blasi shot a great shot from long distance. It looked like a certain goal, but the audience witnessed a really smashing save by Georgi Velinov when he caught the ball only just under the crossbar. After 66 played minutes FC CSKA got a freekick which was hit by Bradley de Nooijer. If Ahmet Refik Ülgü had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Borussia Dortmund MZB's Ubaldo Gonsalve was substituted for Zhu Tian Sha. Borussia Dortmund MZB made a substitution. Gernando Pernambucano replaced Oséias Palmeira. Angelo Peruzzi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Asparuh Genovski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bradley de Nooijer made in the 82nd minute of the game a quick throw-in and Arnulfo Roderigo immediately put the ball in play. After a rather tough play, Borussia Dortmund MZB's Cui Qian Jun got a free kick in the 83rd minute. A hard shot by Asparuh Genovski from long distance, 84 minutes into the match, got Angelo Peruzzi's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Georgi Velinov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gernando Pernambucano in the 87th minute of play. Borussia Dortmund MZB's Angelo Peruzzi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arnulfo Roderigo in the 90th minute of play. Angelo Peruzzi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ruslan Dzhalev, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. The throw-in from Bradley de Nooijer in the 94th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Borussia Dortmund MZB's Cui Qian Jun. In the 95th minute of the game Bradley de Nooijer made a throw-in which Asparuh Genovski played forward.
