The Haithabu FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fabian Söderström should have stopped the shot. 15 minutes into the match, lןןl BANFIELD FC Lascano's goalkeeper Chiquito Romero had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jacinto Torres. After a rather tough play, lןןl BANFIELD FC Lascano's Cai Avellaneda got a free kick in the 19th minute. In the 31st minute Teodosio Itzaina shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabian Söderström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half lןןl BANFIELD FC Lascano were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jacinto Torres to make the kick off. In the 55thth minute of the game Jacinto Torres who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but lןןl BANFIELD FC Lascano's Chiquito Romero was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 56th minute Teodosio Itzaina shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabian Söderström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Chiquito Romero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jacinto Torres, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 64th match minute, lןןl BANFIELD FC Lascano was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leo Sidoro to maneuver through the defense. Chiquito Romero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Conrad Vrolijcx in the 66th minute of the match. Jacinto Torres sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet as Teodosio Itzaina kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Fabian Söderström. That made the score 0-2 in the 82 minute of play. Haithabu FC's Fabian Söderström proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to save Haithabu FC from getting a goal against them. lןןl BANFIELD FC Lascano's Chiquito Romero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mauri Icardi in the 88th minute of play. Haithabu FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Conrad Vrolijcx in the 89th minute. Conrad Vrolijcx made a great header on Haithabu FC's corner, it was just that lןןl BANFIELD FC Lascano's Chiquito Romero managed to reach the ball for a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mauri Icardi in the 94th minute of play forced lןןl BANFIELD FC Lascano's goalkeeper Chiquito Romero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The lןןl BANFIELD FC Lascano players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
