Rene Vereijt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aniol Peña, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. In the 9th minute of the match, Aniol Peña got a very nice opportunity to score, but Rene Vereijt was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. A collision led to JEMBer UTara getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Arcan Erakalın hit a great ball. Rene Vereijt made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when Aniol Peña sent off a good shot on target. With a little luck, FC Ouagadougou National's Rene Vereijt got control of the ball when Aniol Peña tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 25th minute, William Westelinx made a precise shot to the right of Joel Bertol. JEMBer UTara's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. After a rather tough play, FC Ouagadougou National's Baba R. Hansen got a free kick in the 32nd minute. With a little luck, FC Ouagadougou National's Rene Vereijt got control of the ball when Aniol Peña tried to sneak it across the goal line. William Westelinx blasted a shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Joel Bertol having to make a save. Joel Bertol showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from William Westelinx in the 39th minute of the match. 41 minutes into the match, William Westelinx had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Joel Bertol. JEMBer UTara's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that William Westelinx was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The wind increased when Rafet Nesip made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by William Westelinx in the 52nd minute of play forced JEMBer UTara's goalkeeper Joel Bertol to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 53 minutes had been played when some careless play by JEMBer UTara's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Andres Calamaro was slow to take the kick. During this time FC Ouagadougou National's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Andres Calamaro almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but JEMBer UTara's Joel Bertol did a great save. The throw-in from Arcan Erakalın in the 65th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by FC Ouagadougou National's Baba R. Hansen. Lucas Eger hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Ren Dang kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. William Westelinx might have been able to make a better finish in the 72nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Joel Bertol. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. William Westelinx ran back to his position shaking his head. JEMBer UTara's Joel Bertol played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by William Westelinx in the 72nd minute of play. In the 74th minute, FC Ouagadougou National's William Westelinx ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Joel Bertol. Joel Bertol yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-3. Jedrzej Kiszkiel took the ball and in the 80 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Joel Bertol. Joel Bertol dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-4. 84 minutes into the match, JEMBer UTara's Rafet Nesip sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rene Vereijt narrowly saved just below the crossbar. FC Ouagadougou National's Rene Vereijt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rafet Nesip in the 85th minute of play. The corner ended in Andres Calamaro almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but JEMBer UTara's Joel Bertol did a great save. In the 93rd minute, Rafet Nesip left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The JEMBer UTara fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-4. In the 96th match minute, FC Ouagadougou National was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paolo Evis to maneuver through the defense. FC Ouagadougou National's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
