In the 15th minute Bennvar Nickler shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kim Hänninen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bennvar Nickler might have been able to make a better finish in the 30th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Kim Hänninen. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bennvar Nickler ran back to his position shaking his head. Kim Hänninen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bennvar Nickler, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. A sloppy throw-in by Ralf Björk in the 34th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Fragleses's Adam Zawaski. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Bennvar Nickler to strike the kick off in the second half. After 50 played minutes Fragleses got a freekick which was hit by Zlatko Ibrahimović. Kim Hänninen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bennvar Nickler in the 51st minute of the match. When Bennvar Nickler came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the Real Södertälje fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bennvar Nickler couldn't finish the play. Real Södertälje made a substitution. Birger Hedberg replaced Urki Regalado. 59 minutes had been played when some careless play by Fragleses's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Reynaldo Cerezo was slow to take the kick. During this time Real Södertälje's players had a chance to rest. The audience thought a goal was coming when Wiktor Gomolka got free with Carsten Eckstein in the 63rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Fragleses getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Zlatko Ibrahimović hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Zlatko Ibrahimović in the 70th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Carsten Eckstein prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match had gone on for 70 minutes, Zlatko Ibrahimović put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Carsten Eckstein. Fragleses made a substitution. Ermegildo Rexino replaced Olaf Wojtowicz. 75 minutes into the game, Birger Hedberg cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Kim Hänninen was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Fragleses made a substitution. Jaroslaw Blochowiak replaced Wiktor Gomolka. Rikard Wolff scored 3-1 in the 90th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Kim Hänninen, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After some careless play in the Fragleses defense, Rikard Wolff kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kim Hänninen. The Fragleses fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kim Hänninen should have stopped the shot. For all the effort they put into the match, the Fragleses players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Real Södertälje.
