In the 7thth minute of the game Roneixon Siqueira who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but New Loser FC's 김 담 was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 김 담 took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roneixon Siqueira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 10 minutes into the match, Espigão Steamrollers's goal looked a bit too open when Christian Ljungberg came free, but Gonçalo de Medeiros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 14 played minutes Espigão Steamrollers got a freekick which was hit by Kara Bhattacharya. Gonçalo de Medeiros made an important save on a dangerous shot by Karhan Siralp in the 16th minute. Karhan Siralp could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Gonçalo de Medeiros made a huge save. In the 22nd minute, Otto Sudaryanto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Karhan Siralp got free with Gonçalo de Medeiros in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gonçalo de Medeiros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Karhan Siralp in the 28th minute of play. Espigão Steamrollers's Gonçalo de Medeiros played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Karhan Siralp in the 29th minute of play. 김 담 made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roneixon Siqueira in the 31st minute of play. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Roneixon Siqueira was the one to do the kick off. Otto Sudaryanto hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Oswaldo Nascimento kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. In the 81st minute, 柳远桑 ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. 김 담 was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Gonçalo de Medeiros showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Karhan Siralp in the 86th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Espigão Steamrollers's Gil Vieira slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of 김 담. That made the score 0-2 after 90 minutes of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kara Bhattacharya in the 95th minute of play forced New Loser FC's goalkeeper 김 담 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Espigão Steamrollers supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Espigão Steamrollers would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
