With a couple of smart ball manuevers Behçet Alp in the 39th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Zbyszko Kajfasz saved FC Harnaś Sanok from getting behind. FC Harnaś Sanok's Zbyszko Kajfasz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andriy Shevchenko in the 43rd minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Behçet Alp in the 89thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal.
