Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 18 minutes into the match, Wara's goal looked a bit too open when Augustinas Gavorskis came free, but Elias Urdaspal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Elias Urdaspal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Augustinas Gavorskis in the 23rd minute of the match. The corner led to Deportivo Medievales's Jeremías Tindall getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. 28 minutes into the match, Wara's Faouzi Louahla sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Robert Abbondanzieri narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Augustinas Gavorskis made in the 36th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Jeremías Tindall immediately put the ball in play. Through an outstanding action, after 37 minutes, Robert Abbondanzieri successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 39th minute, Jean-Baptiste Boulebda hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Larkins Potter recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 45 minutes, Larkins Potter managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Wara's supporters crossed their fingers, but Larkins Potter was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Wara were awarded a corner in the 54th minute after Deportivo Medievales's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Cheb El-Hadi took the corner. 61 minutes into the game, Deportivo Medievales's Nino Manfredi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Elias Urdaspal made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 69th minute when Eriberto Dalmai was dribbling his way through Wara's defense he got a clear chance for a shot, but the shot went just outside the left post. A nice corner shot did that Tomas Sazon got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Elias Urdaspal quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. If Nino Manfredi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Larkins Potter's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Robert Abbondanzieri read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 83rd minute of play. If Eriberto Dalmai had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Deportivo Medievales's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
