In the 9th minute Florian Banach shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Óscar Cordoba saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Roch Kempka made a fantastic save in the 10th minute, when Saturnino Curcio sent off a good shot on target. Óscar Cordoba took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ragnar Lönn, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 20th minute Diego Maradona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roch Kempka saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Florian Banach in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Óscar Cordoba prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ragnar Lönn made a great header on Musztarda Diżą's corner, it was just that Sporting de Gijón's Óscar Cordoba managed to reach the ball for a save. Óscar Cordoba took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cosimo Rocchi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cosimo Rocchi scored 1-1 in the 30th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Óscar Cordoba, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Óscar Cordoba made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Florian Banach in the 34th minute of play. Musztarda Diżą were awarded a corner in the 35th minute after Sporting de Gijón's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Remigiusz Anszczak took the corner. Sporting de Gijón's Óscar Cordoba played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Florian Banach in the 37th minute of play. The wind increased when Matias Bilintx made the kick off in the second half. In the 58th minute of the match, Florian Banach tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Óscar Cordoba saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Florian Banach in the 60th minute of play forced Sporting de Gijón's goalkeeper Óscar Cordoba to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Roch Kempka made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Matias Bilintx in the 64th minute of play. 65 minutes into the match, Musztarda Diżą's goal looked a bit too open when Matias Bilintx came free, but Roch Kempka reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Musztarda Diżą's Roch Kempka played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Venancio Emesto in the 92nd minute of play. Rune Fanström struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Roch Kempka didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sporting de Gijón. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
