Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Freddy Sein came out of the goal in the 8th minute to try and stop a shot by Maraponga FAC's Cristiano Osmundsen. But to his dismay, Cristiano Osmundsen quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. In the 10th minute Cristiano Osmundsen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Freddy Sein saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mané Andrade showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Claus Wüllbier in the 12th minute of the match. Sporting Angola's Freddy Sein played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristiano Osmundsen in the 15th minute of play. A collision led to Maraponga FAC getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Jimmy Lind hit a great ball. Mané Andrade made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ubaldo Goyanes in the 21st minute of play. In the 22nd minute Cristiano Osmundsen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Freddy Sein saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 26 played minutes Maraponga FAC got a freekick which was hit by Yves Joanes. An unexpectedly hard shot by Xacintu Magadan in the 29th minute of play forced Sporting Angola's goalkeeper Freddy Sein to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ubaldo Goyanes scored 1-2 in the 39th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mané Andrade, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Ubaldo Goyanes made the kick off in the second half. When Ubaldo Goyanes came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Sporting Angola fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ubaldo Goyanes couldn't finish the play. Freddy Sein made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xacintu Magadan in the 57th minute of play. Sporting Angola's Freddy Sein played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xacintu Magadan in the 70th minute of play. Sporting Angola made a substitution. Ailton Curvelo replaced Şenol Yazıcı. Sporting Angola's Tomas Gartzen was substituted for Ubaldo Goyanes. Claus Wüllbier might have been able to make a better finish in the 76th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mané Andrade. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Claus Wüllbier ran back to his position shaking his head. Cristiano Del Monaco walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. In the 83rd minute, Sporting Angola's Claus Wüllbier dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-4. Claus Wüllbier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mané Andrade having to interfere. In the 88th match minute, Sporting Angola was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Claus Wüllbier to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Maraponga FAC getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Yves Joanes hit a great ball. The Sporting Angola supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Sporting Angola would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
