The audience was convinced that Panos Karkantos's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Adrianus Tambunan was relentless in the 27th minute of the game. Heleno de Freitas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ernesto Fontes took the ball and in the 63 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Adrianus Tambunan. Adrianus Tambunan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. Adrianus Tambunan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Panos Karkantos in the 67th minute of play. Paul Christini showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rasyid Purbaya in the 68th minute of the match. Putra Rewulu's Adrianus Tambunan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Panos Karkantos in the 69th minute of play. Heleno de Freitas struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Adrianus Tambunan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Edson Futebol Clube. Putra Rewulu's Nuriana Limbong was substituted for Asmadi Subagio. Paul Christini made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Onur Ali Tulun in the 75th minute of play. Lucas Hulk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dorotheos Macheritsas was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 90 minutes into the match. Tao Xing Yong took the ball and in the 93 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Adrianus Tambunan. Adrianus Tambunan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. With a little luck, Edson Futebol Clube's Paul Christini got control of the ball when Nuriana Limbong tried to sneak it across the goal line. For all the effort they put into the match, the Putra Rewulu players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Edson Futebol Clube.
