In the 17th match minute, DFP was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alex Nordin to maneuver through the defense. In the 19th minute of the match Lisandro Quaresma shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Joel Vallengren showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 20th match minute, DFP was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Thor Hasselqvist to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Americo Rozarius managed to get in a good position for a shot. CLATHU's supporters rose to their feet, but Americo Rozarius was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Joel Vallengren breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. CLATHU's Jacobo Peter played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Charlie Bjurström in the 22nd minute of play. Jacobo Peter made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Stefano Lilipaly sent off a good shot on target. Guillermo Cebrian kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. Joel Vallengren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Americo Rozarius in the 29th minute of play. Lisandro Quaresma charged in rather forcefully in the 34th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lisandro Quaresma the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Charlie Bjurström in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jacobo Peter saved CLATHU from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Charlie Bjurström in the 40th minute of play forced CLATHU's goalkeeper Jacobo Peter to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Joel Vallengren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Javier Innocenzio, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. After 44 played minutes DFP got a freekick which was hit by Alex Nordin. Stefano Lilipaly kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Americo Rozarius to strike the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in CLATHU's zone, Stefano Lilipaly stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jacobo Peter came out of the goal and Stefano Lilipaly tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of CLATHU booed when DFP was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Charlie Bjurström didn't get a good kick on the ball. Stefano Lilipaly received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Jacobo Peter tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
