An unexpectedly hard shot by Hernán Restat in the 16th minute of play forced Keszi Athletic's goalkeeper Claudinho Taffarel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Claudinho Taffarel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jaunti Bonilla in the 17th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vaios Vourtzoumis in the 22nd minute of play forced FERRABARCA FC's goalkeeper Leonardo Da Vinci to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. FERRABARCA FC's Leonardo Da Vinci played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hugó Révész in the 30th minute of play. In the 37th minute Cornel Răducanu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Claudinho Taffarel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Hugó Révész had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Claudinho Taffarel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hernán Restat in the 44th minute of play. Jaunti Bonilla scored 0-1 in the 46th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Claudinho Taffarel, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.

Leonardo Da Vinci took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hugó Révész, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Claudinho Taffarel was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but André Van Bever showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-2 in the 59 minute of play. In the 65th minute of the match, André Van Bever tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Claudinho Taffarel saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when FERRABARCA FC's Hernán Restat in the 73rd minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Claudinho Taffarel was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Keszi Athletic through an amazing save. Viktor Ambrus received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Leonardo Da Vinci tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, FERRABARCA FC's Flor Buscando got a free kick in the 97th minute. Leonardo Da Vinci took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hugó Révész, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. FERRABARCA FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
