After 18 minutes, Fabio Rivera mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Oadby United and the Dobrudja 1919 players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Oadby United getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Fabio Rivera hit a great ball. Peter Petro's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 24thth minute, Franklin Corpeño skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Peter Petro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Peter Petro who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 35thth minute tested the skills of Franklin Corpeño when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After 36 minutes Oadby United's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Peter Petro who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Dobrudja 1919's corner Peter Lenko fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Franklin Corpeño quite easily take care of the ball. Peter Petro who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 46thth minute tested the skills of Franklin Corpeño when he managed to save the team from getting behind.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Carlos Barraza made a kick off. Dimitar Mengov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dobrudja 1919 were furious when Celestino Frantzes was red carded, 53 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The penalty shot was made by Raúl Medrano, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Dobrudja 1919's Michal Krasko. 2-1. If Jonathan Soberano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Peter Lenko sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Jose Meza charged in rather forcefully in the 67th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jose Meza the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Oadby United's Jose Meza got a free kick in the 67th minute. Dobrudja 1919's Peter Lenko got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Fabio Rivera hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. In the 71st minute the ball was on its way in behind Oadby United's goalkeeper Franklin Corpeño, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Franklin Corpeño took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jonathan Soberano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 79th minute, Ján Dančo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Dobrudja 1919 getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Peter Lenko hit a great ball. Fabio Rivera was shown his second yellow card after 86 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Franklin Corpeño had in the 88thth minute some difficulties stopping Peter Petro's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. When Jonathan Soberano came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Dobrudja 1919 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jonathan Soberano couldn't finish the play. 92 minutes into the game, Eliseo Dubon threw the ball into play from the sideline. Dobrudja 1919's Dimitar Mengov quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. In the 93rd minute, Jonathan Soberano ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Franklin Corpeño was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. 95 minutes into the match, Oadby United's goal looked a bit too open when Dimitar Mengov came free, but Franklin Corpeño reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Oadby United's zone, Jonathan Soberano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Franklin Corpeño came out of the goal and Jonathan Soberano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 101st minute, Peter Lenko left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Dobrudja 1919 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. Dobrudja 1919 walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
