After a rather tough play, Mariluz FC's Eduardo de Azevedo got a free kick in the 5th minute. After 7 minutes, Wolfgang Bernard mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Vorberg FC and the Mariluz FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Wolfgang Bernard hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. Max Brünen stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Anísio Tepedino's shot from short distance in the 9th minute. In the 12th minute the ball was on its way in behind Vorberg FC's goalkeeper Max Brünen, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 14th minute, Hajo Seyller hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Anísio Tepedino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Max Brünen having to interfere. In the 24th minute, Spike Schwarz made a precise shot to the right of Yan Carneiro. Mariluz FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. After 27 played minutes Vorberg FC got a freekick which was hit by Hajo Seyller. Anísio Tepedino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Max Brünen having to interfere. 33 minutes into the match, Vorberg FC's Spike Schwarz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Yan Carneiro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Bengt Rohn kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. Spike Schwarz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Wolfgang Bernard received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Yan Carneiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Anísio Tepedino stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Anísio Tepedino kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. Eduardo de Azevedo hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. In the 54th minute the ball was on its way in behind Mariluz FC's goalkeeper Yan Carneiro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Vorberg FC's Wolfgang Bernard in the 55th minute got a chance for a shot 55th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Mariluz FC's goalie prevented a goal. Anísio Tepedino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Anísio Tepedino in the 87th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Max Brünen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 88th minute, Eduardo de Azevedo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Yan Carneiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wolfgang Bernard in the 90th minute of play. Spike Schwarz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Yan Carneiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 93 minutes into the game, Vorberg FC's Wolfgang Bernard nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Yan Carneiro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Mariluz FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
