Louvil's Timothé Bastin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Torcato Aragão in the 5th minute of play. If Torcato Aragão had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of SC Mouguelas booed when Louvil was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jacques Nussbaum didn't get a good kick on the ball. With an all-out effort, SC Mouguelas's Timothé Bastin threw himself towards the right post 15 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Carlos Salgueiro, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 19 minutes into the match, Louvil's goalkeeper Timothé Bastin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Isidoro Caldas. Lucas Houze lost his temper 19 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 19th minute of the game. One of Louvil:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of SC Mouguelas:s goal. When the match had been going on for 21 minutes, SC Mouguelas's David Lamego got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Timothé Bastin. 27 minutes into the match, Louvil's goal looked a bit too open when Torcato Aragão came free, but Timothé Bastin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 29 minutes, Timothé Bastin successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 30th minute Carlos Salgueiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Timothé Bastin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 33rd match minute, SC Mouguelas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Severino Gonçalves to maneuver through the defense. Gérald Schmid recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Stanislas Sigrist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Éder Matos having to interfere. 40 minutes into the match, Jolan Riffaud notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of SC Mouguelas's Éder Matos. Éder Matos was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jolan Riffaud made a kick off. Éder Matos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jolan Riffaud, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Isidoro Caldas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Timothé Bastin having to interfere. 61 minutes into the match, Isidoro Caldas notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Louvil's Timothé Bastin. Timothé Bastin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Jolan Riffaud managed to get in a good position for a shot. Louvil's supporters rose to their feet, but Jolan Riffaud was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Éder Matos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 67 minutes into the match, Jolan Riffaud notched a goal, 2-3, to the right of SC Mouguelas's Éder Matos. Éder Matos was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 77 minutes into the match, Jolan Riffaud had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Éder Matos. SC Mouguelas's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jolan Riffaud was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-4. Jolan Riffaud struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Éder Matos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Louvil. When Isidoro Saraiva fell near the penalty area in the 95th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SC Mouguelas's protests and gave Isidoro Saraiva a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Louvil booed when SC Mouguelas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Isidoro Saraiva didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Jolan Riffaud kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Éder Matos. That made the score 2-5 in the 97 minute of play. The SC Mouguelas supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Louvil's performance. The match ended with a win for Louvil.
