Douglas de Souza who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 4thth minute tested the skills of Jerônimo Maranhense when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After 6 played minutes Nitra FC got a freekick which was hit by Gogo Eneko. 7 minutes into the match, Floresta Club U18's Ruy da Rocha sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jerônimo Maranhense narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Douglas de Souza's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 9thth minute, Jerônimo Maranhense skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After 10 played minutes Nitra FC got a freekick which was hit by Yuri Tutorskiy. In the 14th minute Charles Pimenta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Léo de Brito saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 18 minutes into the match, Nitra FC's goalkeeper Jerônimo Maranhense had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Douglas de Souza. Yuri Tutorskiy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Léo de Brito having to interfere. Guilherme Viana hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Ruy da Rocha hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Charles Pimenta, 22 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Yuri Tutorskiy struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Léo de Brito didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Nitra FC. Yuri Tutorskiy charged in rather forcefully in the 31st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Yuri Tutorskiy the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 32 played minutes Nitra FC got a freekick which was hit by Yuri Tutorskiy. Jerônimo Maranhense took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gilmar Castro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tomé Reis kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. 38 minutes into the match, Nitra FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gilmar Castro came free, but Jerônimo Maranhense reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Williams Ferrari got free with Léo de Brito in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Floresta Club U18's Léo de Brito proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save Floresta Club U18 from getting a goal against them. Nitra FC were awarded a corner in the 56th minute after Floresta Club U18's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Charles Pimenta took the corner. An unexpectedly hard shot by Charles Pimenta in the 60th minute of play forced Floresta Club U18's goalkeeper Léo de Brito to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 63rd match minute, Nitra FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Williams Ferrari to maneuver through the defense. Douglas de Souza might have been able to make a better finish in the 63rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jerônimo Maranhense. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Douglas de Souza ran back to his position shaking his head. Marcel Chaves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Nitra FC booed when Floresta Club U18 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guilherme Viana didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Douglas de Souza's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jerônimo Maranhense was relentless in the 77th minute of the game. Thanks to some nice moves Yuri Tutorskiy could shoot a difficult shot in the 84th minute, which Léo de Brito however easily saved by the left post. Yuri Tutorskiy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a rather tough play, Nitra FC's Gogo Eneko got a free kick in the 91st minute. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
