Nicky Williamson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 9th match minute, OS IMPOSSIVEIS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Witold Gotfryd to maneuver through the defense. In the 11th minute of the match SeleSantos FC got a corner. OS IMPOSSIVEIS's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Niilo Mikkola ran over to the corner to take the kick. It was a well-played corner which Jacobo Casado managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Allan Leite hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. In the 28th match minute, SeleSantos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Daniel Montenegro to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, OS IMPOSSIVEIS's Allan Leite got a free kick in the 30th minute. After 32 minutes OS IMPOSSIVEIS's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Niilo Mikkola who took care of the corner kick. Niilo Mikkola made a great header on SeleSantos FC's corner, it was just that OS IMPOSSIVEIS's Nicky Williamson managed to reach the ball for a save. A collision led to SeleSantos FC getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Vânderson de Moraes hit a great ball. After 40 minutes of play, OS IMPOSSIVEIS's Witold Gotfryd made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dinei Pinheiro was left in no man's land by his defense there! The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Witold Gotfryd made a kick off. Nicky Williamson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Montenegro in the 54th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Niilo Mikkola in the 60th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nicky Williamson saved OS IMPOSSIVEIS from getting behind. Dinei Pinheiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Witold Gotfryd in the 63rd minute of play. Lucas Lopez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dinei Pinheiro having to interfere. The supporters of OS IMPOSSIVEIS booed when SeleSantos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aílton Seco didn't get a good kick on the ball. 70 minutes had been played when some careless play by SeleSantos FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Lucas Lopez was slow to take the kick. During this time OS IMPOSSIVEIS's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Lucas Lopez almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but SeleSantos FC's Dinei Pinheiro did a great save. OS IMPOSSIVEIS's Dedé de Toledo was substituted for Witold Gotfryd. If Daniel Montenegro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, OS IMPOSSIVEIS's Nicky Williamson got control of the ball when Niilo Mikkola tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 85th minute Dedé de Toledo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dinei Pinheiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 87 minutes into the match, OS IMPOSSIVEIS's goalkeeper Nicky Williamson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Niilo Mikkola. Nicky Williamson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Niilo Mikkola's shot from short distance in the 87th minute. In the 90th minute, Dedé de Toledo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Leif Törnqvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Nicky Williamson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the final whistle sounded SeleSantos FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than OS IMPOSSIVEIS.
