Hamílton Chaves was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Zé Trigo showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 6 minute of play. Jessica Xerifão hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. Richard Fontes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elói Barreto in the 9th minute of the match. When Adelino Ramalho fell near the penalty area in the 14th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ligeiro F.C's protests and gave Adelino Ramalho a yellow card for diving instead. In the 14th minute, Adelino Ramalho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hamílton Chaves made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zé Trigo in the 15th minute. 15 minutes into the game, Zé Trigo recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Hamílton Chaves. Zé Trigo showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elói Barreto in the 18th minute of play forced Sumaré Sport Club's goalkeeper Richard Fontes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 19th minute of the match Ligeiro F.C got a corner. Sumaré Sport Club's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Adelino Ramalho ran over to the corner to take the kick. A collision led to Ligeiro F.C getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Chico Souto hit a great ball. Richard Fontes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elói Barreto, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Zé Trigo got free with Hamílton Chaves in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Zé Trigo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hamílton Chaves was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Zé Trigo showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-0 in the 33 minute of play. In the 40th minute of the match, Zé Trigo got a very nice opportunity to score, but Hamílton Chaves was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 42 minutes into the match, Ligeiro F.C's goalkeeper Hamílton Chaves had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alfred Chmelyk. In the 44th match minute, Sumaré Sport Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sebastian Brun to maneuver through the defense. When Alfred Chmelyk came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Sumaré Sport Club fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alfred Chmelyk couldn't finish the play.

The wind increased when Alfred Chmelyk made the kick off in the second half. Sumaré Sport Club's Sebastian Brun quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Rodolfo Trancoso, made in the 51st minute of the game. Alfred Chmelyk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hamílton Chaves having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zé Trigo in the 57th minute of play forced Ligeiro F.C's goalkeeper Hamílton Chaves to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Zé Trigo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Adelino Ramalho got free with Richard Fontes in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 67thth minute of the game Alfred Chmelyk who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ligeiro F.C's Hamílton Chaves was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alfred Chmelyk in the 67th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hamílton Chaves saved Ligeiro F.C from getting behind. 71 minutes into the game, Rodolfo Trancoso threw the ball into play from the sideline. Sumaré Sport Club's Luís Fabiano de Sena quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Hamílton Chaves showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zé Trigo in the 73rd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Ligeiro F.C's Elói Barreto got a free kick in the 75th minute. Sumaré Sport Club's Mehmet Oğuz Uram was substituted for Xu Sha Quan. A collision led to Ligeiro F.C getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Elói Barreto hit a great ball. After having played for 78 minutes, Zé Trigo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sumaré Sport Club's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zé Trigo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 80thth minute of the game Alfred Chmelyk who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ligeiro F.C's Hamílton Chaves was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 83rd minute of the match, Frank Tasso tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Richard Fontes saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The audience was convinced that Alfred Chmelyk's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hamílton Chaves was relentless in the 84th minute of the game. Ligeiro F.C's Hamílton Chaves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfred Chmelyk in the 87th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Sumaré Sport Club had won after a very even match.
