Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Adelino Ramalho got the match started through his kick off. Adelino Ramalho's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 9thth minute, Régis de Queirós skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Ligeiro F.C's Hamílton Chaves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonardo Donato in the 11th minute of play. Hamílton Chaves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leonardo Donato, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. If Leonardo Donato had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Palmeiras's Leonardo Donato in the 15th minute got a chance for a shot 15th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ligeiro F.C's goalie prevented a goal. Hamílton Chaves made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iustin Bungeanu in the 17th minute of play. In the 24th minute Iustin Bungeanu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hamílton Chaves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Régis de Queirós took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alessandro Costa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hamílton Chaves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luke Clist, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Alessandro Costa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Régis de Queirós tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hamílton Chaves took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leonardo Donato, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ligeiro F.C's Hamílton Chaves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iustin Bungeanu in the 45th minute of play. Alessandro Costa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Luke Clist made the kick off in the second half. It was a well-played corner which Leonardo Donato managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Tomé Corrêa hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. 60 minutes into the match, Ligeiro F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Luke Clist came free, but Hamílton Chaves reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpected shot in the 63rd minute by Leonardo Donato got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 66th match minute, Ligeiro F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Chico Souto to maneuver through the defense. Leonardo Donato recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 79th minute Palmeiras were awarded a corner. Tarcisio Reis went to the cornerflag to take it. Kléberson Neiva was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. The crowd rose to their feet as Palmeiras's José Carlos Simões slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Hamílton Chaves. That made the score 0-2 after 83 minutes of play. Hamílton Chaves made a fantastic save in the 89th minute, when Leonardo Donato sent off a good shot on target. Régis de Queirós took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sandro Paulista, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Ligeiro F.C defense, José Carlos Simões kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hamílton Chaves. The Ligeiro F.C fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hamílton Chaves should have stopped the shot. Palmeiras's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
