The referee ignored Tiki Taka FC's protests and gave Ma Xing Yang a yellow card for diving instead. In the 6th match minute, Tiki Taka FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ma Xing Yang to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of El Pulpo Paceño booed when Tiki Taka FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Magdaleno Encina didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 10th match minute, El Pulpo Paceño was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aristides Lluc to maneuver through the defense. After 15 minutes of play, Tiki Taka FC's Ragnar Johansson made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nicanor Ascencio was left in no man's land by his defense there! Marvin Bejarano in the 20thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Nicanor Ascencio, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. With an all-out effort, Tiki Taka FC's Nicanor Ascencio threw himself towards the right post 22 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Magdaleno Encina, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Tiki Taka FC's Oséias de Andrade played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Berriotxoa Abadie in the 34th minute of play. Ragnar Johansson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Nicanor Ascencio made a huge save. Marvin Bejarano's late challenge caught a El Pulpo Paceño's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Marvin Bejarano helped the player get up and apologised. Oséias de Andrade showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maicon Borges in the 45th minute of the match. Nicanor Ascencio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ma Xing Yang in the 48th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Joseph Lockwood stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Oséias de Andrade showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aristides Lluc, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Magdaleno Encina fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicanor Ascencio having to interfere. Oséias de Andrade took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maicon Borges, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 69 minutes into the game, Tiki Taka FC's Manuel Sampaio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nicanor Ascencio made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aristides Lluc got free with Oséias de Andrade in the 73rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Nicanor Ascencio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Magdaleno Encina, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 80 minutes into the game, Maicon Borges was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. El Pulpo Paceño's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tiki Taka FC the free kick. After 80 played minutes El Pulpo Paceño got a freekick which was hit by Maicon Borges. In the 82nd match minute, Tiki Taka FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by 柳笑骏 to maneuver through the defense. Aristides Lluc did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 4-1 to the left of a surprised Oséias de Andrade 86 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Aristides Lluc kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Oséias de Andrade. That made the score 4-2 in the 89 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aristides Lluc in the 94th minute of play forced Tiki Taka FC's goalkeeper Oséias de Andrade to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aristides Lluc could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 99th minute of the match, but Oséias de Andrade made a huge save.
