Aaron Glanselius dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Aaron Glanselius took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carmine Iannone, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 29 minutes into the game, SSC Ambrosini's Henrik Möllgren nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Flavio Lavatrice made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. In the 32nd minute Ni Liang Yong shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aaron Glanselius saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Molfetta sportiva lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
