Aquiles Cordero kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. 6 minutes into the match, Calenzano's goal looked a bit too open when Julio Kemen came free, but Felix Ivarsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 10th minute Arturo Di Matteo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hugo Orlando Gatti saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 12th minute Julio Kemen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Felix Ivarsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfred Olsson in the 16th minute of play forced Consejo del Mate's goalkeeper Hugo Orlando Gatti to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Fagildo Pamanes came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Consejo del Mate fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fagildo Pamanes couldn't finish the play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Arturo Di Matteo got free with Hugo Orlando Gatti in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 32nd minute Fagildo Pamanes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Felix Ivarsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julio Kemen in the 37th minute of play forced Calenzano's goalkeeper Felix Ivarsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Consejo del Mate's zone, Alfred Olsson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hugo Orlando Gatti came out of the goal and Alfred Olsson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Arturo Di Matteo made the kick off in the second half. Hugo Orlando Gatti showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfred Olsson in the 54th minute of the match. Calenzano's Pierrot Leenpoels was substituted for Arturo Di Matteo. Calenzano made a substitution. Ennio Daniele replaced Alfred Olsson. Fagildo Pamanes kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. After 59 minutes of play, Calenzano's Ennio Daniele made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hugo Orlando Gatti was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of Calenzano booed when Consejo del Mate was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Peyo Fonelleda didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Consejo del Mate fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hugo Orlando Gatti should have stopped the shot. In the 94th minute of the match Calenzano got a corner. Consejo del Mate's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Enzo Martelli ran over to the corner to take the kick. When the referee ended the match the Calenzano players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
