Black Rose 1979's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Elias Damasceno was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. In the 18th match minute, 卡納里尼奧 FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elias Damasceno to maneuver through the defense. 24 minutes into the match, Black Rose 1979's Placido Richie sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that João Vítor Guimarães narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Severino da Cunha took the ball and in the 26 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Desiderio Alvarez. Desiderio Alvarez dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elias Damasceno in the 29th minute of play forced Black Rose 1979's goalkeeper Desiderio Alvarez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Desiderio Alvarez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Severino da Cunha in the 30th minute of the match. 33 minutes into the match, Eliseu Alagoano notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Black Rose 1979's Desiderio Alvarez. Desiderio Alvarez was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Placido Richie made a kick off. In the 57th minute, Elias Damasceno hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 60th minute, 卡納里尼奧 FC's Severino da Cunha dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-5. In the 63rd play minute Elias Damasceno came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Desiderio Alvarez. 0-6. Desiderio Alvarez had great luck who in the 66thth minute grab hold of the ball when Eliseu Alagoano from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. 67 minutes into the match, Jefferson Maia had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Desiderio Alvarez. Black Rose 1979's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jefferson Maia was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-7. 卡納里尼奧 FC's Allan do Nascimento was substituted for Evaristo Pernambucano. 75 minutes into the game, Eliseu Alagoano recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Desiderio Alvarez. Eliseu Alagoano showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-8. Desiderio Alvarez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eliseu Alagoano, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. 卡納里尼奧 FC's Elias Damasceno got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Elias Damasceno's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Desiderio Alvarez firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 93rd minute, Severino da Cunha ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Desiderio Alvarez was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-9.

The Black Rose 1979 fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. 卡納里尼奧 FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
