In the 6th minute, Robin Ljungberg made a precise shot to the right of Heigo Mustkivi. Tapa Athlétic™'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. In the 9th minute, Gheorghiţă Hagi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Tapa Athlétic™ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Gheorghiţă Hagi's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Lennart Holmstedt firmly grabbed it by the left post. Tytus Awizo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Heigo Mustkivi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 20 minutes into the match, Rank 1's goal looked a bit too open when Vahur Nirk came free, but Lennart Holmstedt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 22 minutes had been played when some careless play by Rank 1's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. 武 太史慈 was slow to take the kick. During this time Tapa Athlétic™'s players had a chance to rest. In the 22nd match minute, Tapa Athlétic™ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mugurel Chiriloaie to maneuver through the defense. 24 minutes into the game, Mugurel Chiriloaie cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Lennart Holmstedt was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 30th match minute, Rank 1 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Johannes Olsson to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Rank 1 getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Per-Arne Alegren hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Gheorghiţă Hagi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tapa Athlétic™'s supporters rose to their feet, but Gheorghiţă Hagi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lennart Holmstedt breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Heigo Mustkivi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tytus Awizo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Rank 1's Lennart Holmstedt got control of the ball when Kalju Palk tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Tapa Athlétic™ booed when Rank 1 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Johannes Olsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Yan Chuan Ling had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 45th minute, Tytus Awizo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rank 1's Lennart Holmstedt proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save Rank 1 from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Tapa Athlétic™ getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Kalju Palk hit a great ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Robin Ljungberg made the kick off in the second half. Lennart Holmstedt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mugurel Chiriloaie in the 54th minute of play. After some careless play in the Rank 1 defense, Mugurel Chiriloaie kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lennart Holmstedt. The Rank 1 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lennart Holmstedt should have stopped the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Mugurel Chiriloaie managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tapa Athlétic™'s supporters rose to their feet, but Mugurel Chiriloaie was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lennart Holmstedt breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 62nd minute, Rank 1's Emanuele Marzulli seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Emanuele Marzulli the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Rank 1 protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Emanuele Marzulli had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In a very dangerous position, a player in Rank 1 fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 61st minute. Penalty! Lennart Holmstedt had in the 63rdth minute some difficulties stopping 武 太史慈's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. The corner led Tapa Athlétic™'s Samuel Cordarell to fire away a dangerous shot which Lennart Holmstedt despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. With his leg Heigo Mustkivi managed to avoid a goal in the 76thth minute, when Rank 1's Tytus Awizo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 77th minute of the match Rank 1 got a corner. Tapa Athlétic™'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Lars Billström ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Rank 1's Lars Billström to fire away a dangerous shot which Heigo Mustkivi despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Tapa Athlétic™ were awarded a corner in the 83th minute after Rank 1's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. 武 太史慈 took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Yan Chuan Ling got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Lennart Holmstedt quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 86th match minute, Rank 1 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kent Aronsson to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Rank 1's zone, 武 太史慈 stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lennart Holmstedt came out of the goal and 武 太史慈 tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by August Uibo in the 89th minute of play forced Rank 1's goalkeeper Lennart Holmstedt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Tapa Athlétic™'s 武 太史慈 got a free kick in the 92nd minute. 92 minutes into the match, Rank 1's Lars Billström broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. If Torgny Rosén had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 97th minute, Lars Billström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Tapa Athlétic™ had played much better football throughout.
